Congratulations to ICAA Member: Dwayne Jean Jr

Dwayne Jean Jr., an outstanding figure in both sports and community advocacy, has made a significant impact through his achievements and dedication to his Indigenous heritage. Born and raised in a small Northern Alberta community, Dwayne’s journey is a testament to resilience, perseverance, and unwavering pride in his roots.

The Dwight Dorey Youth Advocacy Award is given yearly to an Indigenous youth between 16-25 that has been recognized by their community for their significant achievements. As a member of the Indigenous Congress of Alberta Association, Dwayne was nominated among dozens of other incredible youth. On behalf of the Indigenous Congress of Alberta Association, we thank Dwayne for his efforts and congratulate him on this deserved win!
